Refuse Containers

Environmental Refuse Container We supply two styles of refuse container - one is a 30m3 capacity bin with a separate oil containment compartment (with secondary containment for environmental safety) designed for drilling & service rig refuse, the other is a 28m3 capacity container suitable for general rig camp refuse.

We also take measures to ensure the safe and environment friendly removal of all hazardous and domestic waste. Our domestic waste is sorted and disposed of at local area landfills, (Grovedale, Clairmont and West Grande Prairie Landfill) in accordance with city and county guidelines. All waste is tracked by Savage Oilfield waste manifests and copies are supplied to field supervisor for each lease location. Copies are also forwarded to oil company head offices for future reference.

We are an Alberta Environment approved receiver of hazardous wastes. (receiver # ABR 10037)The hazardous wastes are then sent to Government approved recycle or disposal companies for proper handling. (Newalta Corp., Little Dipper Holdings and Hazco Environmental). EUB hazardous waste manifests are provided for each lease location. Hazardous waste manifests are completed for these locations and are forwarded to the customer for reference. Copies of these manifests are kept on file by Savage Oilfield Rentals Ltd. for future reference.
